Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2020-2021 and degree award in 2020

       Implement the plan No. 2569 / KH-ĐDN dated 29th October 2020 signed by NDUN Rector on the opening ceremony for the academic year 2020-2021 and degree award in 2020. On 6th Nov 2020, opening Ceremony for the academic year 2020-2021 and degree award for postgraduate learners in 2020 was held at the hall by NDUN.

       Attending the ceremony, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr.Le Thanh Tung - Chairman of NDUN Council; Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Vice Rector, in charge of NDUN. The members in NDUN Party Executive Committee, management board, NDUN Trade Union Standing Committee, NDUN Youth Union; Heads and Deputy Heads of Faculties, Departments, Centers, Library; sponsors; NDUN staffs and learners, students.

       Opening the ceremony, Dr. Vu Van Thanh - NDUN Vice Rector read the letter from General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong to the education sector on the occasion of the opening of the academic year 2020-2021.

       Then Dr. Truong Tuan Anh - NDUN Vice Rector, in charge of NDUN delivered his opening speech and drummed for the beginning of the new academic year. The speech reviewed the glorious journey of 60 years of proud construction and maturity of NDUN lecturers and students. Over the past years, with the attention of leaders of the Party, State, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Training; Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Nam Dinh province and departments in the province, the unanimous solidarity of NDUN staffs and students, NDUN has gradually affirmed its prestige and the training quality of health human resources at university and postgraduate levels in the system of national medical and pharmaceutical universities and had international integration.

       Regarding the results achieved in the academic year 2019-2020, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh said: from the nursing university, NDUN has strived to become a multidisciplinary university in the health sciences sector to train high-quality health human resources with an emphasis on nursing, midwifery, nutrition, public health ... In 2020, NDUN has made efforts and obtained the certificate of education quality accreditation, established NDUN Council and enrolled 10 graduate students and over 1000 students of all professions; built and put into operation the 5-storey pre-clinical building. NDUN hospital has provided free medical examination and treatment for NDUN staffs' parents and the elderly in some wards in Nam Dinh City. NDUN medical staff training quality always meets the needs of domestic and foreign employers.

Dr. Truong Tuan Anh hoped that all NDUN staffs and learners, students especially fresh men would have unity to build a strong NDUN and successfully implement the tasks of the academic year 2020-2021 and the following academic years.

       On behalf of NDUN Party Committee and management board, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh sent his most sincere thanks to leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of Nam Dinh province, departments, and branches of the province, the central and local mass organizations that have directed, helped and created conditions for NDUN to fulfill its assigned tasks well. He also expressed his thankfulness to the close affection and the cooperation, assistance of universities, colleges, professional secondary schools, institutes and hospitals inside and outside the province for their continuous coordination and association in training and research; to agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals for actively sponsoring NDUN activities over the years and in the future; to NDUN staffs and students, former leaders who have made their best efforts to make NDUN become stronger day by day. In particular,  he greeted and congratulated the fresh men who passed the exams to NDUN.

       In the solemn ceremony, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh drummed to welcome the new academic year 2020-2021. The drum was in harmony with the participants' claps. 

At the ceremony, NDUN launched and supported people with difficulties caused by natural disasters in the Central Vietnam. In particular, NDUN has cared for and helped NDUN students with difficulties caused by natural disasters in the Central Vietnam.

       Accompanying with NDUN and NDUN students,  NDUN Chairman of Council and sponsors presented the X-ray machine for NDUN Hospital and the scholarships for NDUN students who overcome difficulties to study well.

       After the Opening Ceremony of the new academic year was the degree award to students in 2020 and commendation decisions to students with high academic achievements.
