On 16th July 2020, under the direction of NDUN Party Committee, management board, a gratitude program for government preferential policy beneficiary's families and wounded soldiers on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the War Invalids - Martyrs (27th July 1947 – 27th July 2020) was organized by NDUN Executive Committees of Youth Union, Student Association and Trade Union.

       Attending the program there was Dr. Ngo Huy Hoang – NDUN Vice Rector; Dr. Tran Van Long – NDUN Trade Union Chairman; memberss in the Executive Committees of Trade Union, Youth Union, and Student Union; NDUN staffs and students; Youth Union of wards in Nam Dinh city; Veterans Association of Nam Dinh province.

At the meeting, the organizers gave 104 gifts to 02 families of NDUN staffs whose relatives were martyrs; 32 NDUN students who are children of wounded and sick soldiers; 40 government preferential policy beneficiary's families and war invalids in difficult circumstances in Nam Dinh city; 30 members of the Veterans Association of Nam Dinh province.

       Following the gratitude activities, according to the plan, the delegation will come to offer flowers and light incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at the martyrs' cemetery of Nam Dinh city on 27th July 2020 to pay gratefulness to the martyrs have been sacrificed for the country's independence.

       This is a very meaningful activity organized annually by the Executive Committees of Youth Union, Student Union and Trade Union, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, paying attention and paying respect. For those who have made merit to the country, national pride, arouses the spirit of patriotism, and raises a sense of responsibility for the youth in the cause of national construction and defense.
