Closing conference on Career and Employment Consultant for students 2017

Implement Plan No. 2721 / KH-ĐDN dated 29th December 2017 of NDUN Rector, on 3rd January 2018 the closing conference on Career and Employment Consultant for students 2017 was organized by NDUN to summarize the tasks in the last year and propose the activities in 2018.

Attending the conference there were Dr. Le Thanh Tung - NDUN Rector, Head of Career and Employment Consultant Board for Students; members of management board; heads of departments; members of Career and Employment Consultant Board; secretary of NDUN Youth Union; team leader of the students' union branch; board of head teachers; academic advisors, and monitors of classes.

In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of career and employment consultant in promoting the output, increasing the rate of students getting the right jobs after their graduation and helping affirm and enhance the brand and the training quality of NDUN.

Nguyen Hung Minh, MSc - Head of Student Affairs Office, Permanent member of Career and Employment Consultant Board reported the tasks implemented in 2017 and proposed activities in 2018

In his report at the conference, Nguyen Hung Minh, MSc summarized, analyzed and evaluated the results implemented for career and employment consultant. For example: students are regularly consulted about the characteristics of their profession; their qualification; policies and laws of the State related to their profession; the recruitment programs of prestigious agencies, enterprises and hospitals at home and abroad. Conferences on career and employment Consultant are often organized...His report also pointed out the advantages and disadvantages and outlined a number of activities in 2018.

Dương Đình Dũng, MSc - Center for Testing and Educational Quality Assurance presented the report on the role of academic advisors in career and employment concultant for students

Vu Tuan Hung - Student in Class 12D presented the reoprt on organizing exchanges, seminars, and employment day for students

Phạm Văn Sơn, MSc - Vice Secretary of Youth Union presented his reoprt on the role of Youth Union and Student's Association

Dinh Thang Loi, Specialized Pharmacist Grade I - Director of Center for Cooperation of Science and Technology and Service presented the report on teaching foreign languages and soft skills for students

Dr. Lam Van Dong - Vice Head of Student Affairs Office present the reoprt on the coordination between Carrer and Employment Concultant Board and the recruitment agencies at home and abroad

       In conclusion: Rd. Le Thanh Tung acknowledged and praised the results of career and employment consultant for students. Besides, he pointed out shortcomings, such as the coordination between individuals and units in implementing this task was not good. And it is essential to listen to comments from agencies, enterprises, and employers at home and abroad. Dr. Le Thanh Tung also had the close guidance for career and employment consultant in the coming time.
